Fear of Not Being Enough

Ever felt like you’re not smart enough, talented enough, or just plain enough?

Like no matter what you do, it’s never quite it? Yeah, I’m preaching to myself here. But here’s the truth: You were never meant to be “enough” on your own—because God is.

Think about Moses. When God told him to go speak to Pharaoh, Moses basically said, “Nah, You got the wrong guy. I’m not good at this.” (Exodus 4:10). And God? He didn’t say, “Nah, Moses, you are enough.” Instead, He said, “I will be with you” (Exodus 3:12).

That’s the key. Your strength was never supposed to come from you—it comes from Him. When you feel unqualified, remember: God doesn’t call the qualified—He qualifies the called. So if you’ve been doubting yourself lately, take a breath. You don’t have to be “enough” because God already is.

Scripture: “Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me..” — 2 Corinthians 12:9 NLT

Extra Challenge: Write down one area where you feel “not enough.” Then pray, asking God to fill that space with His strength instead of yours. Let’s go!
